Using our unique self-install tools which were designed in-house, the Ground Screw Centre now operates throughout the UK with Garden Room/Shed/Office manufacturers, Premium Decking suppliers, Professional Landscapers and Sports Facility suppliers.

You will be part of a small team, in a very busy environment, reporting to the Operations manager and supporting a range of key areas.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, 08:30 until 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Job Title:

Warehouse Storeman

Duties include:

Operating Forklift to fulfil warehouse duties and meet business requirements Loading and unloading vehicles using safe manual handling techniques and lifting aids Picking, packing, and preparing orders for daily despatch Pallet packing and wrapping (essential) Operating machinery to cut timber joists to size Minor spray painting of parts when required Moving, storing, and organising stock within the warehouse Inspecting and maintaining warehouse equipment Waste segregation and general warehouse housekeeping Collecting goods from local suppliers using a company vehicle Preparing materials and stock for company installation work Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies to the Ops Manager Maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient warehouse environment at all times Taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse standards without direct supervision Adhering to all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements Supporting the business with other reasonable warehouse duties

Key attributes required for you to fulfil this role:

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid forklift licence (counterbalance) - essential Previous warehouse experience preferred Must have understanding of pallet packing and wrapping Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with a strong work ethic/can do attitude Both positive and creative in your approach to accomplish tasks effectively Own transport essential due to rural location Full UK driving licence preferred Right to work in the UK

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
