Job Description

Experience as a forklift driver is required.

Experience loading containers is desired
Candidate must be willing to do Manual labour to assist the whole warehouse team
The job involves lifting of heavy loads (10KG MAX) mechanically and sometimes manually.
They must be able to bend, kneel and stoop from time to time.

He/she must have the ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
Good numerical skill is necessary for effective forklift driving work as the driver will be off picking items for pallets and loading containers
He/she is expected to possess excellent communication skills; he/she must be able to listen to and take instructions from the warehouse manager and adhere strictly to them
He/she must possess the necessary training and certificates necessary to drive a forklift and other similar mechanical devices
He/she must have the necessary safety training and certificates, and must be safety conscious
Must be willing to work flexible shifts as he/she may be required to load or unload cargo during weekend, holidays, or even at night
Accurately picking, packing, and wrapping customer orders.
Supervising and training new staff in picking, packing, and order preparation.
Supervising loading and unloading of trucks and containers (potentially handballed).
Supervising the labelling and repackaging of products without damage.
packaging, unpacking, and repacking goods.
Maintaining quality of container and truck loadings to ensure secure and optimised loading for all orders.
Checking dates and quantities of incoming and outgoing stock.
Ensuring cleanliness and safety of warehouse and yard.
Reporting to Warehouse Assistant Manager.
Undertaking additional duties as required.
Must be motivated, hard-working, and able to work independently or in a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per month
