Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to assist with our warehouse operations and the Warehouse Manager at our Causeway Road site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient business processes, effective team management, and the smooth operation of materials handling within our facility.

Shift patterns vary depending on needs of the business. Operation opening hours are between 4am - 6pm across our two sites.

Duties

Support and coordinate all aspects of the company's warehousing operations, including picking, loading, and quality control. Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimise productivity and foster a positive work environment. Coordinate logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency. To lead by example with following company processes and efficiency. Facilitate communication between departments to streamline business processes. Promote a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is advantageous. Understanding of business processes related to warehousing and logistics. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast paced environment. Pro-active attitude towards duties.
