Responsibilities



A hands-on role to supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for locking up site, included on the on call-out list for out-of-hours monitored alarm activations. Maintain inventory accuracy and perform regular stock checks to minimise discrepancies. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order fulfilment and streamline warehouse processes. Maintain records of warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and employee performance. Help maintain and exceed company KPIs. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency. Ensure customer returns and the RTM process is kept up to date.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, or similar role. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and regulations. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail. A proactive and results-oriented mindset, always striving to meet and exceed targets. A valid and up to date FLT licence is required, preferably REACH FLT (if you are a Counterbalance certificate holder, training can be provided). Full driving licence with acceptable DVLA licence check (no more than 3 points and no. drug, alcohol or dangerous driving convictions).

Working Hours



Working 37.5 hours per week (no weekends)

Shifts 7.00am - 3.00pm / 10.00am - 6.00pm (flexibility to cover 8.00 am - 4.00pm)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,200.00 per year
