Our warehouse is home to thousands of items ready to be picked and packed with care in what can be an extremely busy environment. Our warehouse team are responsible for upholding out service to our customers through picking, packing and getting our products accurately to our customers on time. They also take receipt of goods from our suppliers, putting everything away neatly and always being safety conscious.

Role Overview



Based at our Dupli HQ Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility of completing the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in a safe and efficient manner. They oversee the team of Warehouse Operatives under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, ensuring our customers receive the items they have ordered accurately, safely packaged and via the correct delivery method. They oversee goods in, unloading and checking off the products our suppliers send and ensure they are put away efficiently. They have responsibility for stock counts and generally ensure the warehouse is a clean, tidy and safe environment.

This role also incorporates responsibility of delivering our specialist products using our 3.5 tonne van. The deliveries vary in frequency, but at busy times could up to two or three a week throughout the UK

Key Responsibilities



Picking:

Pick to order using manual picklists

Packing:

Packing orders to correct quality standards

Labelling:

Entering order details and printing labels for packed orders accurately to correct transport provider and printing manifest.

Driving:

Responsibility of all Dupli direct deliveries, ensuring products are delivered safely with a high standard of Customer Service.

Use of Forklifts:

We have a Reach, Counterbalance and Walking Forklift onsite

Goods In:

Receipt of deliveries, checking stock and storing in correct locations.

Inventory Control:

Performing cycle counts and stock checks to minimise discrepancies.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by following health and safety protocols and adhering to company policies and procedures. Reporting of all accidents, near misses and risks to the Operations Manager

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring accuracy when picking and performing checks on each order.

Equipment Maintenance:

Report any issues with equipment including forklifts and storage systems to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring that faulty kit is not in use.

Housekeeping:

Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy at all times

Team Management:

Day to Day supervision of the team when Warehouse Manager is not available. Working in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager to plan warehouse operations efficiently.

Continuous Improvement:

Support the Warehouse Manager to implement process improvements to drive change and enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications And Experience



Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse environment.

Strong teamwork ethic Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Ability to use warehouse management software and MS Office applications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence to report issues and risks Capacity to develop leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Valid and clean full UK driving licence with ability to drive the 3.5 tonne van Must hold a valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift license.
