Warehouse Supervisor - Uneek National Distribution Centre, Talbot Green, CF72

Salary 34K - 36K per annum (Dependant on experience), Monday - Friday - 11am - 20:00pm

also 1 in 4 Sundays (Not in salary - extra hrs) 10am - 16.30pm

If you are an experienced senior warehouse co-ordinator, assistant or full supervisor looking for the next move and are keen to become an integral part of fast-moving warehouse environment, then we would be keen to hear from you.

The role is to assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within all warehouse functions, and to ensure company's targets and objectives are met daily.

General and Task Management

Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team

Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that we meet customers' expectations

Deliver accountable warehouse departments in achieving depot objectives.

People/Team Management

Build team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets and objectives

Work as a team in the planning, managing, and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse

Relationship Management

Have no problem in communicating at all levels both internal and external stakeholders

Embraces personal challenge and is self-aware

High levels of motivation and action orientated

Skills

Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilising appropriate interpersonal skills and providing a clear sense of direction

Qualifications and Experience Levels

Essential

Experience (minimum 1 year) of operating in a supervisory or senior co-ordinator capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurised warehouse and distribution environment. knowledge of WMS/WCS and basic MS office skills is also required.

Able to manage teams in all aspects of performance, welfare, and have a hands-on approach

Desirable

Proven track record of project management or co-ordinating would be desirable

Hold a Forklift/Counter balance truck licence
