The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for leading day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring the efficient, accurate and safe handling of goods across all areas from receipt to dispatch.

This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone with strong operational knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment. This role will be on a rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflow runs smoothly and efficiently Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety standards and company procedures Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods in a timely and accurate manner Assist with manual handling tasks including loading/unloading deliveries and preparing shipments Accurately book goods in and out using warehouse management systems or internal software Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and reporting Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise space, reduce waste and increase efficiency Support, coach and guide warehouse staff by fostering a positive and productive team culture Liaise with production and management teams to ensure operational alignment Perform other duties as reasonably required to support warehouse and logistics operation

Person Specification



Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics setting Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, stock handling and dispatch operations Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar environment Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP stock control software Valid FLT licences: Reach and PPT Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and best practices in a warehouse setting High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work to deadlines and meet performance KPIs Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset IT literate

Pay: From 15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
