Please note this role will be operating a 10am-6pm shift and will operate from Tuesday to Saturday.
In this role, you will assist the Warehouse Manager in the day to day running of all picking, packing and dispatch activity within the operation, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory bodies.
Driving, monitoring and evaluating the performance of team members to ensure products are ready for dispatch
Resolving operational issues and challenges to ensure workloads are completed
Managing returned stock and investigating complaints
Managing the performance and development of the team
Driving and improving the health and safety culture within the workplace
About You
Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a strong background in supervisory and leadership role
In-depth knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics principles
Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience preferred but not essential
Skilled in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for inventory and operational control
Effective people management, with experience leading teams of 7-10 direct reports
Excellent leadership and team-building skills; able to motivate and inspire staff
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
Able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of performance
Clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy
Physically resilient; capable of standing for extended periods and handling manual tasks
Thorough understanding of health and safety requirements in warehouse operations
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and experience implementing change initiatives
