We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader (late shift) to work at our Wolverton site (MK12 5PT).
The role offers a salary of 36,053.05 per annum plus 832 shift allowance per annum, with a Monday to Friday shift pattern 1400 - 2200.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of their shift, leading a team of colleagues, ensuring staff are briefed and managed in accordance with Yusen Procedures within a busy warehouse environment.

Key tasks
Responsible for the running of the shift - ensuring staff follow SSoWs and SWIs.
As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including manually supporting the team with tasks as and when required
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved
Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Ensure that all MHE is used in an appropriate manner, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient numbers of trained employees to meet business demands
Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary
Hearings as necessary
Review the training and development needs of functional employees to ensure that employees are trained to the required standards
Looking at continuous improvement with knowledge of Kaizen and/or 5S highly advantageous
Key requirements
Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-moving operation
Previous warehouse experience in front line management
Previous experience of HR processes such as return to work & disciplinary & grievance processes
Awareness of manual handling techniques is essential
Able to lift weights of up to 25k
Previous experience MS Excel & knowledge / operational experience of WMS SCALE
Experience of using RF scanners
Counterbalance, Reach or T2 experience/licence is advantageous
Must be flexible and proactive with the ability to work in a team
1st aider & fire marshal trained is desirable
