Shift patterns:

Tuesday to Saturday Daytime 7am until 3pm

Contract Type:

Permanent (Full-Time)



DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level To promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation

Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment is essential Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages Ability to lead by example and lead a team to successfully meet KPI's
