We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Team Leader to join our team supporting the Yamaha contract, covering two sites in Milton Keynes MK7 8BL and MK1 1LS.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the shift team, ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations, and proactively managing resources, space, and consumables.
The position involves managing warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound deliveries, while ensuring compliance with customer expectations and the company's safety practices.
The role will offer a salary of 36,053.05 per annum with the shift of Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations across inbound and outbound processes
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support
Plan short-term resource and space requirements in collaboration with the Shift Manager
Deputise for the Shift Manager during absences, including shift management and customer liaison
Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and complete equipment checks
Maintain and update Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and working instructions
Use manual handling equipment appropriately and monitor driver standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team engagement, safety, and efficiency
Key Skills:
Literate and numerate
Previous warehouse experience with people management responsibilities
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, including HHTs and UI
Awareness of manual handling techniques
Fork Truck licences (Clamp, PPT, VNA) advantageous - training can be provided
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident decision-making and ability to manage conflict professionally
Comfortable using data and reports to inform decisions
Flexible, proactive, and a strong role model
