We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader (Section Leader) to join our dedicated team at our site in Basingstoke. As a valued part of our team, you will support the effective operation of our warehouse for our key Howdens contract, though managing the day-to-day activities of our Team Members to ensure that customer requirements are achieved in a timely manner and to a high standard of customer care.

About You




To be considered as a Warehouse Team Leader (Section Leader), you will need:




Previous experience leading a team in a fast-moving warehouse operation (ideally 3PL) Previous experience of supporting ER tasks including absence & performance management, PDR's/appraisals, disciplinary & investigations Experience of delivering shift briefings, ensuring that all business communications are effectively managed and shared with the team as appropriate A passion for continuous improvement A strong commitment to health & safety Proven knowledge/experience of 5S or similar A detail-oriented approach and strong organisational skills Excellent communication skills Proven ability to effectively prioritise tasks Strong awareness of manual handling techniques Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and e-mail Maths and English GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent (desirable)






This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week with a 30 mins unpaid break, in the shift pattern of 22.00 to 6.30 Monday to Friday (these may be subject to minor change either side depending on operational needs).
