Job Summary

EF Plastics UK Ltd are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and be proficient in materials handling. This role involves leading a small team operating bailing and shredding machinery. candidate must have own transport due to location of site and be prepared to work outside in all weathers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Manage the loading and unloading of the machines and monitor productivity. Train new staff on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with other departments to optimise logistics and improve overall efficiency. Promote teamwork and consistent standards across the warehouse ensuring all work meets company expectations

Skills

Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
