Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to load and unload goods. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation. Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met. Perform heavy lifting as required, moving stock efficiently throughout the warehouse. Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise the warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and managing stock effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in materials handling is advantageous but not essential. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating warehouse equipment. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred. Experience with quality control measures will be considered an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly is required. Previous experience using a warehouse management system is a plus.
