Job Description
We are a well-established, family-run business and we're currently looking for a Warehouse /Delivery Driver to join our team in our Cheshunt Branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being out on the road, and delivering great service to our valued customers.
The working hours are 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-1pm alternate Saturday's.
Responsibilities
Managing goods in and goods out Warehouse stock audits Delivering goods to local customers in a timely and professional manner Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries Ensuring delivery vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained Providing excellent customer service and representing our business with a positive attitude Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role is preferred Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
