Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle for deliveries, ensuring goods are transported securely and efficiently. Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, performing heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory within the warehouse. Organise stock within the warehouse, ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely. Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.

Requirements

Previous delivery driver experience is essential, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with stock management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as part of daily responsibilities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A proactive approach to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations while driving and working in the warehouse environment.
