Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and delivering goods to various locations, requiring a professional approach and excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including delivery vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, unload, and organise stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly and securely Prepare delivery schedules and routes to optimise efficiency Deliver goods to clients or other company sites in a timely manner, maintaining professional communication with recipients Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks within the warehouse as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within a warehouse environment Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is desirable but not essential Physical fitness to handle manual handling tasks throughout the shift
