Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including the loading and unloading of goods, as well as driving to deliver materials as required. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to handle materials efficiently.

Duties

Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper storage techniques. Perform picking and packing of orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stocking and inventory management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's licence is required for driving duties associated with this role.
