DRIVER AND WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Aspen Maintenance Services Ltd is currently looking to recruit for a full-time role at their site in Bridgwater to assist the Warehouse Manager in the smooth running of the Warehouse and Transport Department. We are looking for a pro-active individual who has experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You must be used to dealing with customers and possess an appetite to learn and develop skills further. You must be self-motivated and be able to pick up new systems and processes.

Scope and purpose of the role

You will develop and sustain good relationships with customers and support the Warehouse and Transport team to achieve optimum performance for the company:

Assist with the running of the Warehouse

Help carry out monthly stock take.

Ensure Chemical Store is tidy and stocked.

Notify Sundries Office of low stock levels.

Ensure Warehouse Office is clean and tidy

Pick orders for delivery as required.

Deliver goods and equipment as required.

Ensure vans are kept clean, inside and out.

Book all goods onto computer system

Carry out any reasonable requests as instructed

Ensure delivery yard is clean and tidy

Take unwanted pallets to pallet yard.

Take scrap materials and equipment to scrapyard as required.

Assist engineers with kitchen deliveries and installations

Assist engineers with one-off equipment deliveries.

Carry out vehicles checks.

CAZ-inform office when driving into a CAZ

Experience required

Knowledge of local area

Driving and delivering

Forklift experience helpful

Experience with 3.5 tonne Luton van helpful

Warehouse experience

: From 25,000 full-time depending on experience.

8.30 - 16.30 with 30 minutes lunch
