Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable with heavy lifting, as well as operating warehouse management systems.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required. Build and assemble products or displays as needed for shipping or storage. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly packed and labelled.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in shipping, receiving, and materials handling within a warehouse setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Proficient in using forklifts for loading and unloading tasks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels. Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
