Job description

Manage & keep accurate records of all stock arriving and leaving the warehouse.

Check received stock for damaged and missing items Store received items in the appropriate location of the warehouse. Rotate stock when necessary to ensure expired stock kept to a minimum level. Manage mapping positions for new stock.

When required utilise forklift and pallet truck operation in accordance with health and safety practices. Zaino to provide training periodical assessments & refresher courses. Ensure periodical maintenance carried out

Keep warehouse clean & tidy at all times all passageways free from debris & obstructions. Recycling & general waste control.

Print orders using computer provided. Prepare orders in accordance with picking list and inform management of any changes prior to presentation for invoicing. Double checking of products picked to ensure order is correct to ease the loading process.

Ensure periodical checks of all equipment & reported defect repairs & carried out.

Ensure freezer fridge and update records & documents.

Printing of invoices (after training) when required

Cover holidays of all warehouse operatives as and when required

Control Short date and damaged stock to ensure maximum selling capacity and inform management in order to sell products quickly.

Check stock totals with system periodically to ensure that stock matches

Control all stock leaving warehouse nothing to leave without being invoiced including goods purchased by staff or agents. Ensure building is secure at closing times and alarm set in accordance with guidelines.

Ensure product maintain correct mapped position. Manage mapping positions for new stock when required.

Assist with loading vehicles ensuring all products are correct and packed sufficiently to avoid damages.

Cover drivers' holidays as & when required.

Ensure vehicle are kept clean presentable.
