We're looking for a versatile individual who enjoys both driving and hands-on warehouse tasks. Our team is innovative and adaptable, often transitioning between roles to meet client and business needs. This position is a unique blend of driving and warehouse operations, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Position: Warehouse / Driver
Reporting to: Warehouse / Transport Manager
Purpose: To support the business's operations through a combination of warehouse, technician tasks, and driving duties for collections throughout the UK & some European collections. Duties will vary depending on business needs, with a balance between on-the-road and warehouse responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Must have full UK driving Licence
Must have previous driving experience
Must be able to drive 3.5 tonne - 7.5 tonne vehicles
Would be useful if you have ADR licence but not essential (training can be provided)
Would be useful if you have Forklift licence but not essential (training can be provided)
Key Responsibilities
Driving and Collections: Perform collections and deliveries across the UK & Europe (as require), maintaining a professional and positive presence as the face of our business to clients.
Warehouse Operations: Undertake disposal and dismantling of SRS components in compliance with health and safety standards.
Training & Compliance: Participate in required training, including additional licenses (e.g., ADR) based on business needs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Workplace Maintenance: Keep a clean, organised workspace, promptly reporting any tool, vehicle, or equipment issues to maintain safe operations.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, following specific client collection instructions and adhering to UK safety driving laws.
Housekeeping: Uphold high standards of hygiene and follow the company's safety procedures.
Additional Duties
Support the warehouse disposal area, assist with unloading and unpacking, cover absences as needed, and handle other tasks that help meet Airbag Disposal's needs.
