Based at our Chorleywood site (WD3), you'll play a vital role in supporting our growing operations.

Brief

We're looking for a motivated, flexible team player who enjoys variety in their workday and takes real ownership of their responsibilities. This is a dual role that combines hands-on warehouse operations with time on the road, providing a dynamic and rewarding workload. You'll be integral to ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics -- from airport collections to customer deliveries and supporting warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Carry out weekly collections and deliveries of marine livestock and dry goods from Heathrow Airport to our head office in Chorleywood.

Complete deliveries to our customers as part of our dedicated courier runs.

Support the warehouse team with picking, packing, stock-taking, and daily operations.

Handle inter-site and local/non-local deliveries and collections from suppliers and customers.

Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks as required.

Accurately manage paperwork related to livestock collections and deliveries.

Adapt your start and finish times when needed to ensure our time-critical shipments reach their destination.

Key skills required include:

A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong 'hands-on' approach.

Attention to detail and picking accuracy is critical

A flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

A positive 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to getting the job done right.

Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or delivery driving.

Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) licence (advantageous).

Knowledge or experience in aquatic livestock or products (desirable but not essential).

Pay: 25,400.00-26,500.00 per year
