Job Summary


Here at The Fulfilment People in Newark we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team working on one specific and unique account. For this role you'll ideally have experience in an industrial / engineering /automotive small parts stores scenario (or similar) and be used to working with WMS to manage all inbound/outbound and inventory. Experience with our WMS, OrderWise, would be an added advantage but is not essential as training can be provided. We are looking for the right applicant to use their experience and to be self-motivated and driven to take responsibility for the day-to-day handling of this account. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be prepared to work both independently and as part of a team and possess a positive 'can do' approach. There is an amount of medium/heavy lifting involved in this position.

Responsibilities



Handle and become responsible for all aspects of stock management, systems based and physically. Handle stock management, including goods in, picking, packing, and order dispatch. Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently and accurately. Participate in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily team targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills



Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Experience with WMS (warehouse management systems) such as OrderWise is preferred (not essential). Experience in picking and packing orders accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Demonstrate a proactive and positive 'can do' attitude towards teamwork, problem-solving and day to day tasks. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform occasional medium/ heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.

A little more about the position



39 hours per week Mon-Fri. Occasional overtime. Mon - Thurs 08:30-17:00. Friday 08:30-16:00. Full training given and shadowing planned for at least 8 weeks. Uniform provided. Company Pension Scheme. Competitive hourly rate. 20 days annual leave + bank holidays. Birthday off and additional annual leave after qualifying periods.
