Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Garden Centre as a Goods in/out and Driver.

Primarily, you 'll tackle warehouse duties like unloading deliveries and managing stock. Additionally, you 'll make deliveries across the South-East, typically 1-2 deliveries daily, with Fridays & Saturdays being busier (up to 10).

You might take on the role of Driver or Drivers Mate, and will sometimes be expected to build the furniture that has been delivered.

This is a very manual role requiring standing, lifting of bulky items and driving. Applicants should please consider the requirements before applying

Key responsibilities:

Load up and arrange the van for delivery routes. Schedule deliveries, liaising with customers on timings. Unload incoming deliveries. Sign in and check off deliveries as required. Maintain, tidy and keep well organised the Barn and Warehouse areas. General warehouse duties including FLT. Assist with restocking of shelves and helping with shop refits where necessary.

Hours of Work

Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch. Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December and New Year's Day.

Our ideal candidate

UK Drivers license (maximum up to 6 points) Experience in delivering goods to customers. Self-motivated and takes pride in their work FLT License (desirable).
