Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard/Warehouse/Trade Counter Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises, ensuring that materials and equipment are stored properly. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Maintain a clean and organised yard/warehouse by removing debris and waste materials. Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries. Ensure proper storage of stock and equipment to prevent damage or loss. Perform routine stock checks and report any discrepancies. Support other team members in various tasks as required, contributing to overall team efficiency. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

Good customer service , organisational skill and time management. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic knowledge of roofing/construction is advantageous. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A proactive attitude towards customer service , safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
