Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform some lifting as needed. We are looking for a cheerful team player with good social skills and an ability to perform basic admin tasks as part of their day to day.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to local designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Utilise warehouse management systems, including tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Perform picking and packing duties as required, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to build efficient workflows and improve operational processes. Adhere to all safety protocols while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. This can be a customer facing role so basic social skill essential.

Experience

Previous experience in a driving role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment is essential. Experience using warehouse management systems is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job effectively. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required. Fork lift experience and preferably a licence holder. Some admin experience and basic computer skills.
