This role is ideal for someone with a background in electronics, either through education or experience, who enjoys fault-finding, repair work, and managing technical support workflows. You will be responsible for handling customer warranty and repair enquiries from start to finish, ensuring fast and effective service with great communication and a customer centric approach.
Responsibilities
Receive and manage incoming warranty or repair requests from customers.
Coordinate product returns and handle the full repair or replacement process.
Perform basic electronics diagnostics and repairs on lighting products.
Maintain and organize spare parts inventory and stock management.
Ship repaired or replaced items back to customers efficiently.
Keep accurate records of repair jobs, parts used, and customer interactions.
Additional duties to ensure good time utilisation:
Support the team with warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and dispatching stock.
Potential to attend trade shows and events as a technical representative of the company.
Support the preparation of demo stock maintenance and repair
Ad hoc duties as required in a growing and hands-on business environment.
Skills and Experience
Required:
Background in electronics (through formal education or relevant practical experience).
Basic fault-finding and repair skills/experience.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable managing stock and logistics systems.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable:
Experience with lighting equipment for photography, film, or broadcast.
Previous experience in a warranty, RMA, or technical support role.
Familiarity with warehouse or logistics operations.
