This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join a well-established Barnardo's Service to lead a team of highly skilled child exploitation practitioners.
As Team Manager you must be committed to making a difference to young people's lives, building and sustaining positive relationships, working collaboratively with key partners to ensure young people's needs are being met and are protected from abuse through exploitation.Warwickshire Base has been providing a range of services to protect children and young people from abuse through exploitation for over a decade in Warwickshire. Including:

• Direct work with children and young people who are vulnerable, to reduce the risk of abuse through sexual and criminal exploitation.
• Training, preventative, and awareness raising programmes to diverse audiences from statutory, and voluntary agencies working with children, to staff within the private sector as well as children and young people.
• Packages of intervention which empower parents/carers to ensure that their children are kept safe.

Barnardo's CE Service aims:

• To protect children from Child Exploitation.
• To empower children and youung people who are abused, or at risk of such abuse, to achieve their potential.
• To reduce the risk of vulnerable children and young people being abused through sexual and criminal exploitation.
• To enable families to cope with their particular situation and to assist parents/carers to support the children in their care.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 31 March 2026 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.
