Waste and Recycling Assessor

New Forest District (Field-based, starts from Marsh Lane Depot)

Contract:

Full-time, Temporary (1 month initially)

Hours:

8am - 4pm Mon - Thu and 8am - 3:30pm Friday.

Pay:

13.48 per hour / 26,011 per year

Mileage:

65p per mile (starting from Marsh Lane Depot)

About the Role:

We're working with a local authority client to recruit

4 Waste Assessors

to support the rollout of a new waste collection service across the New Forest. This is a temporary role initially for 1 month and involves visiting domestic properties to complete surveys and assess waste container collection points.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conducting on-site tick-box surveys at domestic properties Identifying and recording collection points and access issues Noting any potential waste collection concerns Travelling daily across the New Forest District Using your own insured vehicle (mileage paid at 65p per mile)

What We're Looking For:

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Confident speaking to the public Comfortable working independently and outdoors Attention to detail and ability to follow set processes Basic IT skills for recording survey results Flexible for occasional weekend or evening work if needed
