Snappy Response Waste is a fast-growing waste disposal company based in Walsall. We offer same-day waste removal for residential and commercial clients across the West Midlands. We pride ourselves on reliable service, compliance, and rapid response times. We are now looking for a hands-on Waste Operations Manager to help streamline our operations and support our continued growth.

We are looking for an experienced operations lead who can manage the day-to-day logistics of our waste disposal service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our team of drivers, ensuring legal compliance, and providing excellent service to our clients. This is a key leadership role with flexible working options -- ideal for someone looking for either full-time commitment or a part-time role with impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee daily waste collection routes Supervise and support drivers and operational staff Ensure compliance with environmental and waste regulations (Duty of Care, WTN, etc.) Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules and driver records Coordinate tipping and disposal documentation Liaise with customers to ensure high service standards Prepare weekly performance updates for the business owner Assist with staff onboarding and training

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in waste, transport, or site operations Knowledge of waste handling regulations and compliance standards Strong organisational and communication skills Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, job scheduling tools) Full UK driving licence WAMITAB or Transport Manager CPC is an advantage (or willingness to gain it)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
