Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Waste Operative to join our team. This role involves the safe and efficient management of waste materials, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be capable of heavy lifting, contributing to the smooth operation of waste processing activities.
Responsibilities
Sort and and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations Transport waste materials using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring safety at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the waste handling area Follow health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks associated with waste handling.
Experience
Previous experience in waste management or a similar manual labour role is advantageous but not essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required Good time keeping Physical fitness and stamina to work in a demanding environment are essential

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21-13.42 per hour
