Mersey Waste (NW) Ltd is an expanding waste management company based on the Wirral. The salary starts from National Minimum Wage with the option for a review after your probation period ends. Immediate starts are available as soon as next week for the right candidate.

This role is part-time, 16-24 hours per week fixed hours dependent on the applicant with occasional overtime / extra hours available.

We are looking for a Waste Operative who will assist with basic duties such as:

Safely Loading and Offloading Waste onto vans Keeping the yards and vehicles clean and tidy Be able to communicate with our clients in a professional manner
To apply for this role you must:

Be fit and healthy as this job is labour intensive and involves safe heavy lifting Be able to flexible in days worked, with the ability to occasionally work late/early or on weekends Have a Valid UK Driving License with NO INFRACTIONS
You must have the ability to:

Use provided phones for communicating with the office and other team members, and using apps for completing work - training will be on how to use these apps Learn processes quick for dealing with commercial customers Follow instructions to make sure jobs are correctly in a safe & efficient manner Follow guidance to accurately and consistently provide quotations to our customers
Drivers Licenses' aren't required for this role, but are preferred. We are not looking for agency workers. Please do not give us a call regarding the job listing as we will reach out to suitable applicants within a few days.

All prospective job holders must be able to commute to our yard in Poulton, Wallasey and must be available to work some Saturdays.
