RecycleSol Van Waste Driver

RecycleSol is the Dry Waste side of Hazsol Environmental, a fast-growing Hazardous Waste Business. This role is to grow a new side of the business concentrating on Non Hazardous and WEEE Waste.

We are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, providing a high-quality 'man and van' style clearance service for businesses across Scotland. This Role has the potential for growth into ADR driver with full training provided

Please note- experience of working within the waste industry is preferred.

The Role: Varied & Customer-Focused

This is a varied, full-time role that combines driving, manual loading, and providing exceptional customer service.

Driving: Operating 3.5t Luton style vans locally and nationally. A fair amount of time will be spent driving and navigating.

Loading & Labouring: Collecting and loading waste into the vehicle, often solo or as part of a two-person team (where required). While there can be physical moments, the focus is more on high-quality customer care than peak fitness.

Customer Service: Delivering top-level service, which includes quoting for jobs on-site and providing accurate information back to the office.

Types of Jobs

The work is varied and you must enjoy some physical work and tackling challenging jobs. You will often work solo but may be in a two-person team for larger collections like furniture.

Clean Collections

Removing bulky furniture or relatively easy items.

Messy Collections

Manually emptying overfilled bins or collecting fly-tipped waste.

Bulky/Loose Waste

Collecting skip bags filled with bulky or loose construction waste.

Collecting Electrical items and WEEE waste

Contract & Benefits

We offer a stable, permanent contract with excellent benefits:

Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Starting salary: 28,000 - 30,000 (DOE)
Salaried Wage with the potential for Bonuses
Working Days: Normally 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (No weekend work!).
Benefits: Company pension scheme, full uniform, and bonuses.

Hours & Reliability

Working Hours: Are flexible but normal patterns of 7am-4 30 pm Monday to Thursday with 3pm finish on a Friday

Requirements

Driving Licence: Must have a clean driving licence and be confident driving a 3.5t Luton style van.
Criminal Records: We will undertake a DBS check. Any criminal record must be reported as part of your application.

Location of Work

Depot: You must make your way to our depot at 10B Whitfield Drive, Ayr KA8 9RX.
Access: Onsite parking is available, and the location is accessible via public transport.
Potential for taking Van home

Interviews will take place in January 2026, with potential for immediate start.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
