We're looking for a Demand Reduction Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to meet critical water efficiency targets. You'll use your analytical skills to delve into large datasets, spotting patterns and identifying where we can make the biggest impact on reducing customer water consumption. You won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be turning your insights into actionable recommendations that will shape our strategy.

You will lead on the creation of a suite of reports dashboards based on the water efficiency team requirements utilising new technology within the business. Therefore, experience and knowledge of coding languages such as Python, R and SQL will be crucial to the success of this.

Main responsibilities:



Analyse large datasets related to household and non-household water use to provide solutions and recommendations. Lead the creation of reports and dashboards to track the savings from our water efficiency initiatives. Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for various stakeholders, including senior management. Collaborate with our Water Insights Team and other data teams to support the company's evolving data strategy. Manage your workload and prioritise tasks to meet the business's needs. Support the Water Efficiency team on various activities and assist the wider Customer Demand Management team with their reporting requirements.

You'll need:


Skills / Qualifications / Experience



Degree educated Previous experience in a Data Analyst role Experience in using SQL, Business Objects, Google reporting tools, and advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong analytical skills to analyse large data sets and draw conclusions to inform our water efficiency programmes. A proactive and pragmatic approach to understanding and utilising data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for different stakeholders. A collaborative spirit--you'll be comfortable networking and working with other data teams across the business. Problem-solving skills to provide analytical techniques that present a solution. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Compensation package:



30,000 - 35,000 depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
