We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in water resource management and engineering principles, with expertise in design and project management. This role involves working on various projects related to water supply, flood control, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Design and develop water resource projects, including stormwater management systems, drainage designs, and flood mitigation strategies.
Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcGIS for project design and analysis.
Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess water flow and quality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within scope and timeline.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve successful outcomes.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Provide mechanical knowledge to support the integration of engineering solutions in construction projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
A degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and other CAD software is required.
Strong project management skills with experience in leading engineering projects from conception to completion.
Knowledge of hydraulic modelling software is advantageous.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
