The water hygiene engineer team leader role is the perfect opportunity for a experienced individual with water hygiene or plumbing experience to join the team.

Through the ProEconomy Continuous Competency Programme(CCP), the successful candidate will be trained and mentored in key areas as required, ensuring thorough support in developing; understanding of the Company including its values and policies, software and practical understanding and experience of the services being completed.

The role will cover a wide variety of water hygiene and treatment tasks including:

Leading a water hygiene team to provide technical support and advice Pipework disinfection TMV maintenance and remedials Remedial plumbing Cold water storage inspection and disinfection Calorifier inspection and disinfection Shower head descale and disinfection Temperature profiling Little used outlet flushing Closed system analysis and flushing

Qualifications



Essential



Full UK Driving Licence English and Maths GCSE or equivalent City and Guilds certification or equivalent in an industry relevant field Water Hygiene Training in area of discipline

Desirable



Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing, Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies or equivalent (City and Guilds, BPEC, EAL, FETAC or SQA) Understanding of Water Regulations (WRAS) Watersafe approved

Experience



Essential



Minimum five years' experience in a water/ plumbing related role

Desirable



Knowledge of industry relevant legislation and guidelines; including but not limited to, ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM04-01, WRAS Experience leading a team Working in a healthcare environment

Individual Qualities Required



Understand the importance and risk associated with water systems Take into consideration end user requirements including vulnerable and elderly Being able to communicate effectively with clients, end users and colleagues Ability to use initiative and react quickly Shares ProEconomy culture values Good understanding of tablet and mobile functionality Works well with a team
