Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Supply Pipe Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various tools and equipment. This role involves working on water systems, ensuring their functionality and efficiency, while adhering to safety standards. The Water Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining water quality and infrastructure.

Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery for installation and maintenance of water systems. Perform connections, repairs and full replacements of water supplies. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out maintenance tasks. Conduct routine inspections of water systems to identify issues and resolutions. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any repairs or modifications made. Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Requirements

Experience in Water supply installations.

EUSR Blue Water Hygiene Card

Solid knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various conditions. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation between job sites. NJUG understanding. Willing to learn, opportunity to complete under pressure mains connections too.

Desirables -

Proven experience operating excavators and heavy machinery with tickets. Moling Experience Experience with Plasson fittings NCO Level 2 - Water NWRSA Supervisor Experience with reinstatement - Not essential
Cascade Water Services complete a range of work. Its a manual job, but highly rewarding. We carry out water main installs, repairs and servicing. We also carry out works with UKPN, Cadent gas and others in the public highways under traffic management systems, etc. Supply pipes and customers private properties is where this work will start.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 150.00-210.00 per day
