We are seeking a reliable and efficient Self Employed Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods and packages, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in commercial driving. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van to deliver packages and goods to various locations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Load and unload items, ensuring that all packages are secured during transit. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary documentation. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organising packages for delivery.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
The weekly payment is inclusive of VAT.
