Wealth Manager/Head of Wealth Management - London

Our client is a longstanding and well-respected bank, offering Private Banking Services to Wealthy individuals and Corporations, with a focus on Arab clients (including non-resident, non-domiciled

The purpose of the role is to proactively develop the Wealth Management proposition and expand the product offering. The position will work closely with the portfolio management and structuring teams, to increase the value of the existing assets under management through promoting the investment services to the existing clients, as well as securing new relationships

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with the Head of Private Banking to develop comprehensive strategies for the wealth management business Develop a deep understanding of the clients' needs and expectations, and work with the Bank's specialist teams to expand the existing investment options Developing investments that would attract and retain the younger generation of clients Work closely with the Relationship Management team to secure introductions to the existing clients and to understand underlying needs Proactively schedule client meetings, promoting the Bank's wealth management services; provide advice on financial matters and the available investment options; conduct suitability assessments, ensuring the business is conducted in line with regulatory expectations and the highest ethical standards Maintain strong client engagement by communicating with them regularly to review progress and address concerns Stay up to date on industry trends, financial products, and regulations Maintain CPD hours to retain the professional qualifications required for the role
Role requirements:

A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field Postgraduate qualifications such as an MSc in Wealth Management or an MBA would be an advantage Specific certifications like the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) Arabic an advantage

Pay: 90,000.00-120,000.00 per year
