Job Description
Don & Low are seeking hands-on and detail-oriented Weavers to join our Technical Textiles division in Forfar following a 4-shift system.
Overview
To operate a group of weaving machines efficiently and safely, ensuring the production of high-quality woven fabric. Ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in producing quality woven fabrics.
Key responsibilities:
Locate and load materials onto machines
Operate weaving machines and provide cover during breaks
Change weft spools and input fault details into the system
Complete night shift safety audits and sort faulty beams
Thread spools and manage beamer's knots
Ideal Candidates:
Machine operation experience (training provided)
Basic education and numeracy
Strong initiative and adaptability
Good hand-eye coordination abilities
Observational skills and attention to detail
Organised and safety-conscious
