This role will be based in our Edinburgh office, with regular home-working and some UK travel to be expected.###
Roles & Responsibilities
As part of the Online Experience, work with the Head of Online Experience, and across Reach and Engagement to maximise the value of Innovate UK Business Connect's online estate.
Work with data and web leads to realise the organisations online vision and match Innovate UK's ambitious new strategy.
Lead a team responsible for management and curation of online content across the Innovate UK Digital estate (iuk.ukri.org / iukbc.org, / No-limits.ukri.org)
Work with Innovate UK Business Connect's Communications and Campaigns teams (marketing managers and content writers) to ensure that there is consistently high quality of online content - visual and written- across all of our external user platforms.
Work with senior stakeholders across the Innovate UK system to ensure IUK's online content is coherent up to date and aligns with the values and content strategy of the organisation.
Work with IUK BC web teams and the IUKBC.org Web Lead to maximise SEO value of the online content, and champion best practice across the reach and engagement directorate.
Manage the relationship between IUKBC and IUK web teams with a specific focus on IUK static content and user flow across platforms.
Guide marketing and campaign teams on online content best practice and work with their teams on up-to-date static content areas.
Manage Innovate UK static content requests.

Experience & Skills
Essential Experience
Senior level experience of online content management, with a clear understanding of SEO, website content design and user experience.
Senior level experience in online content creation and curation.
Experience mapping content architecture for a complex organisation.
Senior level experience in digital channel management.
A broad knowledge of digital marketing ranging from SEO/SEM, PPC, email and databases and organic and paid social media.
Experience working in third sector/ research / government funded organisations.
Stakeholder management within third sector.
Desirable Experience
Line management experience.
Skills
Understanding of effective content and content design principles in context of websites
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently and build effective relationships.
Team player with good relationship building and influencing skills; enjoys working in a collaborative manner in an open, honest, and diverse environment.
Capable of working across organisational boundaries and with senior internal stakeholders.
Ability and confidence to make sound judgments, drawing on relevant sources of information.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
High level of IT literacy.
Online data analysis skills desirable.
