Job Summary

We are seeking a freelance WordPress web developer to support short-term client projects and help build our WordPress portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for a freelancer with strong CMS experience and a good eye for design and functionality. You will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs while ensuring an optimal user experience.

Duties

Design and develop website layouts, user interfaces, and navigation structures using industry-standard tools. Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and understand project goals. Design and develop custom WordPress websites using Elementor, custom themes, or page builders. Integrate plugins and ensure responsive performance across devices. Collaborate with the design and project management teams to meet client expectations. Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments for improved user experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in web design , showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work. Strong understanding of information architecture principles and best practices in usability. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for website management. Proven experience with WordPress (portfolio or links required). Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress best practices. Ability to work independently and deliver on time. Knowledge of SEO fundamentals is a plus. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs that enhance user experience.

Contract Length:

3-month initial contract, with potential to extend based on project success and pipeline.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 27,783.00-30,166.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
