Duties



Develop, test, and deploy web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, and Bootstrap to create responsive user interfaces. Build robust back-end systems utilizing frameworks like Django, Spring Framework, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and PHP to ensure seamless data processing and integration. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services using GraphQL, SOAP, and other protocols to facilitate communication between systems. Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, and Redis; optimise queries for performance and scalability. Utilise version control systems such as Git and GitHub; employ CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment. Implement containerisation with Docker and orchestration tools like Ansible to streamline development workflows. Apply UX/UI principles through wireframing and web design best practices to enhance user experience across all platforms. Conduct unit testing using frameworks compatible with the tech stack; ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to SDLC principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using project management tools such as Jira and Trello; participate in Agile development cycles. Optimise websites for SEO; implement responsive web design techniques ensuring compatibility across devices. Maintain system architecture documentation; contribute to the development of scalable software solutions aligned with organisational goals.

Qualifications



Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (including TypeScript), and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js or similar. Experience working with server-side frameworks including Django (Python), Spring (Java), ASP.NET (.NET/C#), Ruby on Rails or Node.js. Solid understanding of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or SQL Server; ability to write complex queries using SQL. Familiarity with DevOps practices including containerisation (Docker), automation (Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is desirable. Knowledge of web services protocols like RESTful APIs and GraphQL; experience integrating third-party APIs is advantageous. Strong understanding of system architecture principles; ability to develop scalable and secure applications. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Relevant qualifications in Computer Science or related fields are preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by demonstrable experience. Pay: 38,000.00-38,100.00 per year
