Overview

We are a hobby based company in the Geek/Collectable sector seeking a a creative Social Media Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms, along with asssisting with adding products to our website.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding social media management, enabling them to craft compelling content and develop effective strategies that resonate with our target audience. It would also be an advantage if they had some exposure to Shopify, eBay or any other online e-commerce platform.

Duties

Create engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement / messages. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and public relations. Assist with updating the website with products, whilst also advertising the latest releases.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail & spelling. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
