Website designer (ideally with account management experience)

Interact Digital are a well-established digital marketing agency, situated in Chorley, Lancashire. Offering a full-service digital marketing solution, doing all of their work in-house and never outsourcing. We offer a one-stop shop for our clients, which has gained us a great reputation in the market.

We're currently looking to add an experienced web designer with account management experience to our team, ideally someone who has managed projects and taken responsibility for deadlines and performed work delegation within a team of multi-disciplined professionals.

This role will bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, primarily on WordPress, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the website/application looks as well as how it works.

The successful candidate should be able to work unsupervised and have the able to identify content opportunities and come up with fresh ideas. Paying great attention to detail and being able to communicate clearly with clients is also a key part of this role.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop WordPress websites with the Avada theme, adding custom plugins where needed to meet client specifications. Working alongside our inhouse developer to add functionality.

Create intuitive, visually appealing websites that prioritise the user experience and align with our clients' business objectives.
Requirements:

Strong organisation and communication skills

A good working understanding of Google Analytics, especially GA4

Ability to manage multiple live projects with different timelines and needs

Experience of working with or understanding of WordPress

Comfortable taking ownership and solving problems proactively

Friendly, team-focused approach

Pay: 25,000-28,000 salary
Job Type: Full-time

Holidays: 26 days plus bank holidays

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 - 5

Experience: 2+ year in a web/design role or digital marketing-based project manager role

Work Location: In person, PR7 2AL. We're ideally located a very short walk from the towns bus and train stations, as well as having parking onsite.
