Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation working to address the climate emergency.

This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working. Our office locations are Edinburgh, London, Cardiff and Belfast. We will we be happy to discuss our blended working model at interview stage.

The team

• The marketing communications team successfully delivers an increasing number of campaigns for funders, clients and businesses.
• Our aim is to deliver highly effective campaigns and with impact and return on investment with an increasingly agile and flexible approach.
• As a team, we want to identify and embrace new ideas to reach our audiences and ways of working that support the team, incorporate greater evaluation of our impact, and share our insight.
• This role will be part of our newly formed digital marketing team.

The role

• You will be part of our newly formed digital marketing team and collaborate with the content and PR teams
• You will collaborate will colleagues across the business to define, develop and implement ways to improve our web presence and digital services
• You will lead and develop our web presence with a user centred design and uxer experience approach
• You will manage creative agencies and a junior team member
• You will support deliverer of our objective to reach people and empower them to take action to save carbon.

What you\'ll do

• Help us achieve our digital targets through analysing traffic across our websites and identity opportunities for improvement
• Use analysis to develop and maintain a road map of website developments and improvements
• Ensure our web presence has excellent customer journey and remains adaptable for the latest innovation in digital marketing

What you\'ll bring

• Experience of user centred design and user experience research techniques and content design
• Good technical understanding of how websites work, including CMS platforms and a knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
• Excellent project management skills
