Website Technician & Google Ads Assistant (Part-Time, Remote)Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Website Technician to support the ongoing management of our website and ensure our Google Ads campaigns are optimised and running effectively. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for someone with strong WordPress experience who enjoys maintaining websites, monitoring performance, and making small but impactful improvements. Experience with social media management is desirable but not essential.

About Us

We are a growing commercial cleaning business looking to strengthen our online presence through a well-maintained website and effective digital advertising. This role will play a key part in keeping our website up to date, functional, and supported by optimised Google Ads campaigns.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical upkeep of our website and assisting with the management and optimisation of Google Ads. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage their time efficiently, and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Approximately 2 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain our WordPress website, including updates, plugins, content changes, and general troubleshooting. Ensure the website remains secure, functional, and user-friendly. Monitor, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns to ensure they are running efficiently and delivering value. Review basic performance metrics and suggest improvements to website performance and ad campaigns. Assist with light social media management where required (posting, updates, or basic scheduling). Liaise with the business owner regarding updates, improvements, and campaign performance.
Requirements

Proven experience as a website technician or in website management.

Strong WordPress experience (essential).

Experience managing or supporting Google Ads campaigns. Good understanding of website performance, basic SEO, and digital marketing principles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills

Experience with social media management. Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools. Basic design or content skills (e.g. Canva).
