We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team full-time as a Wedding Coordinator at our beautiful country house venue located on the Shropshire/Mid Wales border. You will be responsible for ensuring that each wedding event is executed flawlessly, aligning with the couple's vision and the venue's standards. This role involves meticulous planning, coordination, and on-the-day management to create a memorable experience for all involved. Due to the nature of the business and role, you will be expected to work some weekends and bank holidays to cover event management and offer viewings to potential couples.
Admin is a large part of being a wedding coordinator so strong computer skills and good grammar is required, as you will be contacting and engaging with enquiries and potential couples via email and phone.
The role will also entail some content creation and social media managing to ensure we have a strong digital brand presence across several platforms. This is an ideal opportunity to present your creative flare and build on your social media skills.
This is a rewarding position which allows you to be the face of a couple's wedding journey and special day bringing all the elements together to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The role includes the following duties:
Responding to all wedding enquiries in a timely, precise, and professional manner - this includes following up
Conducting venue viewings for new potential couples seeking their dream wedding venue
Managing contracts and paperwork for booked couples
Conducting meetings and on-going communication for weddings you have been allocated to run, ensuring fact sheets and order of the day documents are completed prior to the day.
Leading and assisting delivery of weddings and events on a rota basis including assisting with set up and turnaround of civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations.
Additional administrative duties required such as filing, managing holiday bookings, answering the phone and emails
Oversee social media campaigns, creating and sharing content across several platforms
Requirements:
Must hold a Valid UK Passport or EU Citizens card
Must be able to work weekends and some evenings
Must be happy to work longer weeks during the peak wedding season.
Friendly, polite and very presentable
Meticulous attention to detail is essential
Must have excellent computer skills
Confident and happy to direct guests and staff, also make small introductions on the day e.g., introducing speeches at a wedding
