Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Decorator & Driver to join our night team. This role involves transforming spaces to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality for weddings, ensuring that every detail aligns with our clients' vision. The Decorator will work closely with the team to create memorable experiences that exceed expectations.

The shift will start at 10:30pm at Battle where you will load the setup onto the vans and then drive the van to the venue. Once at the venue you would collect the previous wedding and then setup the next wedding. Once the weddings are completed you will drive back to Battle and will finish around 5am. Because every wedding is completely different the setup time differs for every shift. Because of this the finish time will be different every day and some days may not finish until 6-7am. Because of this we cannot guarantee a finish time.

You must have your own reliable transport as we are extremely remote!

4-5 nights per week, 25+ hours per week

Responsibilities

To check and load the vans before driving to required venue. Assist team members with the setup and breakdown of decorations before and after events. Ensure all decorations are installed safely and securely, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the shift. Follow design instructions provided and sign off job completions. Maintain an organised inventory of decoration supplies and materials at events. Ensure products are packed and transported securely.

Qualifications

You will be required to drive a large van. Experience and a clean licence would be advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in a decorating role within the wedding industry is preferred but not necessary. Full training will be given. Floristry Experience is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of decorating tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with team leader and team members. A flair for creativity with an eye for detail.
